Outside NYFW S/S 2019

Due to a recent trip to New Zealand, it's been a few seasons since I've been able to shoot at NYFW and it felt so so good to be back at it.
This season I was honored to work with The Fem League in shooting street style photography and conducting short two-question interviews with the subjects. I was told to ask 1) when do you feel your most powerful, and 2) what makes you uniquely you. Two questions that no one really analyzes about themselves until suddenly asked by a 5'2" photographer at NYFW, so understandably everyone seemed to have a difficult time finding their answer.
I loved hearing everyone's unique answers and was surprised to hear that many of the women I questioned answered that they feel most powerful when they first wake up in the morning. Must be nice to be them. As for me, when I wake up in the morning I feel like a zombie that was hit by a bus.
My twenties have been difficult to traverse for me, and I can only add it up as my being a late bloomer perhaps. It's a time in life when lots of important life changing choices have to be made, and me being me, I would rather run away from any seemingly impossible decision making which is saying a lot since I do not partake in cardio activities.
While in New York I had the most ominous dream and I really wish I had written it down as pieces of it are slipping away. Without diving into the details, it made me face these same two questions myself, with a bit more emphasis on the first. So here are my answers:
1) When do you feel most powerful? When I am living my dreams of being a photographer in New York.
2) What makes you uniquely you? I'm a bit rebellious. If you tell me I can't do something, you better believe I'll do it.
And what about you? Leave your answers in the comments if you feel like diving into self reflection.
